Security Clearance Required to enter the conference site

PLEASE NOTE: All visitors must enter the campus through the NIH Gateway Center. You will be asked to submit to a vehicle or personal inspection.

• Registrants can submit information online for Security Clearance within 60 days of the event. All non-US citizens must obtain security clearance at least one week prior to the conference.
• An email alert will be sent to all registrants at the time the Security Clearance site is open.
• The NIH Gateway Center is located adjacent to the Medical Center Metro Station at the South Drive entrance to campus from Rockville Pike/Wisconsin Avenue (Route 355).
• It combines visitor parking, non-commercial vehicle inspection, and visitor identification processing, all in one location.
• The NIH will process all visitors arriving in vehicles or as pedestrians.
• Visitors will be required to show one (1) form of identification (a government-issued photo ID-driver’s license, passport, green card, etc.) 
• State the purpose of the visit to gain access to the conference center.

• No cancellation refunds will be issued after August 1, 2026.

• Registrations are not transferable.
• Any cancellation request must originate from the email address used for registration and include the Registration ID. Email cancellation requests to: registration@bioactivelipids.org
• Please allow 4-6 weeks to process your refund. Checks will be mailed to the address used for registration unless otherwise stated in the refund request.
